Here are the headlines from Q2 of 2019…

 

Activity across the company:

738,665 butterflies were banked in Q2, from 2847 volunteers’ hours and 23,085 actions. This is 46% more butterflies banked than in Q1 2019! 

 

Your favourite bits:

‘Don’t leave a paper trail’ was the most popular activity of the quarter, and was banked 3,021 times.

 

‘Quicker showers save water’ saved 529,900 litres from 757 actions.

 

‘Use your KeepCup’ prevented 1,255 single-use cups being thrown away. 

 

This quarter:

• 1,319,579 litres saved = 8,000 bathtubs of water or half an Olympic sized pool

• 1593 plastic bottles saved 

• 2260 plastic bags saved
