Hammerson employees have together delivered some fantastic results and surpassed the first butterfly target in less than four months, with Cabot Circus achieving the Top Banking Centre Award!

Our 100,000 butterflies-banked goal was achieved through volunteering activities and for taking positive actions.

The whole company got behind Community Day volunteering and then subsequently many other volunteering days.  And a large proportion of employees also banked butterflies for taking positive butterfly actions.

After reaching our first target, it was time to celebrate.  A number of people across the business received both rewards and awards for their personal achievements, and we presented the award for the Top Banking Centre to Cabot Circus.

Cabot Circus have truly embraced the spirit of banking butterflies and taking positive actions to support the world around us and their local community.  And their Top Banking Centre Award is richly deserved.

We’d like to say a big thank you to all Cabot Circus employees for their ongoing commitment and positive contributions.

As well as their collective team effort, individuals at Cabot Circus also suggested ways of making a difference and were stand-out butterfliers.

Francis Lloyd created a ‘Cycle to work’ action, Melanie Bruce-Roberts created a ‘Butterfly Farm’ action and Nicola Hares was the Butterfly Bank’s top butterflier.

For their reward the team received a champange cream tea hamper as well as two Butterfly Farms, plus the coveted Top Banking Centre plaque.

The whole team at Cabot Circus got behind the activities.  Below is a photo of many of the team who took part.  Not in the photo, but also big contributors and supporters of the effort were; Jason strange, Beth Heaven and Norman Ship.
