Butterfly Bank Update October 2018

Summer has passed; the nights are drawing in and the mornings getting cooler. It must mean we are heading into autumn. As we enter the new season let’s check in on your banking activity on the Butterfly Bank for the third quarter of 2018.

Our quarterly recognition wall, which you’ll find on your ‘Home’ page at Hammerson.thebutterflybank.co.uk has updated once again, showcasing some of our top performers from across the company, as well as your favourite themes and the most inspirational DIY action we’ve had.

Here are the headlines from Q3 of 2018…

Activity across the company:

540,420  butterflies were banked in Q3, from 381 volunteers’ hours and 14,752 actions.

Your favourite bits:

Love Rivers is the most popular theme with 1,258 sustainable actions taken across 13 available actions, generating 53,055 Butterflies.

DIY actions are popular. DIY actions have been taken 478 times by colleagues. The most popular DIY action is ‘Pump up those tyres, reducing fuel use and carbon emissions’, suggested by Matty Williams from the Oracle Team.

This is closely followed by the Love Oceans theme, in which each of the 20 actions were banked on average 64 times. Once again, ‘Lose the baggage’ was the most banked action – well done on refusing those plastic bags at the till!

Our top performers:

Our Top Banking office is Union Square.

Our Top Banking team is ABM Union Square.

Our Top Butterfly Banker is Andy Collis from Cabot Circus.

Our Action Hero is Cara Watt from Union Square.
